Bringing innovative technology and thoughtful infrastructure together, we had the opportunity to contribute to the Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens’ new Manatee Exhibit - a standout space designed to educate, inspire, and elevate the guest experience.

“Our team had the opportunity to support this incredible project with a wide range of electrical and low‑voltage services,” said Rod Thomas, Senior Audio Visual Project Manager. From electrical power and audiovisual infrastructure to structured cabling and low‑voltage system support, we delivered integrated solutions designed to support both functionality and visual impact.

One of the most striking features of the exhibit is the 65‑foot curved DVLED video wall, which creates a dynamic and engaging environment for visitors. Behind the scenes, the large manatee tanks require extensive electrical infrastructure to power pumps and life‑support systems critical to the animals’ care. In addition to these technical elements, we also provided the full lighting package throughout the space, both inside the retail and event areas and throughout the outdoor canopy, enhancing the overall atmosphere and visitor experience.

The exhibit also includes a beautifully designed retail and event space that can be rented for corporate events and special gatherings, adding versatility and community value to the Zoo’s offerings. We were honored to help bring this space to life through carefully planned electrical and lighting solutions that balance performance, aesthetics, and flexibility.

The new Manatee Exhibit is a great example of how integrated electrical and audiovisual systems can support education, conservation, and guest engagement.
