Farshid Pourgolafshan, our Director of Integrated Solutions, has been elected as the new President of the Integration Association of Florida (IAF). This well‑deserved appointment reflects Farshid’s leadership, dedication, and continued commitment to advancing the integration, security, and life safety industries across the state.

The Integration Association of Florida has a long and respected history, originally founded in 1968 as the Alarm Association of Florida (AAF). In 2023, the organization underwent a full rebrand to become the Integration Association of Florida, better representing the diverse and evolving landscape of electronic security, automation, fire, low‑voltage, and electrical integration companies it serves. Today, IAF is the leading association in Florida, providing education and training opportunities, legislative advocacy, member benefits, and a strong Code of Ethics to protect both members and public safety.

Farshid has been an integral part of the Miller team for over six years, currently serving as Director of Integrated Solutions. In this role, he has helped lead and expand our integrated systems capabilities, bringing together security, automation, fire, and low‑voltage solutions to deliver innovative, high‑quality results for our clients. His industry knowledge, collaborative approach, and passion for professional excellence make him a strong advocate for both our company and the broader integration community.

As President of IAF, Farshid will play a key role in guiding the association’s mission to elevate professional standards, advance education and training initiatives, promote ethical practices, and support legislation that strengthens the industry.
