Miami Visit: Progress, Partnerships, and Purpose

Oct 30, 2025

Our leadership team, including CCO and Group President of Healthcare and Florida, Brian Seay, recently traveled to Miami to connect with project teams, review progress on key initiatives, and strengthen relationships with our partners in the region. The visit underscored our growing presence in South Florida and highlighted the impressive work being done by our field and project management teams across multiple sectors, from sports and entertainment to healthcare. All of this success and continued regional growth has been driven by the outstanding leadership of Regional Director Roddy Borden. Each stop on the trip reflected a shared commitment to innovation, quality, and purpose-driven construction that makes a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

Freedom Park – Powering Past 25% Completion

We were excited to visit our field professionals at Miami Freedom Park, where construction is officially 25% complete! This $1 billion, privately funded development will soon become the home of Inter Miami CF, opening in 2026. This monumental project features a 27,000-seat, fourstory soccer stadium spanning over 624,000 square feet—a true testament to modern design and collaboration.

A huge shout-out to the incredible team driving this project: Project Manager Cesar Curbelo, along with Stephen Larsen, Juan Rodriguez, Field Superintendent Tommy Wilcox and Safety Manager Bayron Andino! With a 14-month construction schedule, their leadership and dedication are making impressive progress toward bringing this world-class facility to life.

Prefab Shop Visit: Driving Efficiency

During our visit, we also took a trip to our prefabrication shop. We had the opportunity to see firsthand how our prefabrication efforts are driving efficiency, quality, and safety across largescale projects like Freedom Park. The continued integration of prefab solutions into our Miami operations is helping us deliver projects faster while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Execution Meeting: The BHSF Keeley Women’s Pavilion

We wrapped up the trip with a successful execution meeting for the Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF) Keeley Women’s Pavilion Project. This women’s cancer facility embodies both technical excellence and heartfelt purpose. This project is especially meaningful to highlight during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the communities we serve through impactful healthcare construction.

A special thanks goes to the dedicated team making this project a reality: Project Manager Steven Rauser, APM Giancarlo “G” Escalera, and Superintendent Mitch Westcott. Our Miami visit showcased more than progress; it reflected the dedication of our teams and partners who make these landmark projects possible. Together, we’re building spaces that inspire, heal, and bring communities together.
