Our success has always been built on the dedication, leadership, and commitment of our people. This month, we’re proud to spotlight Kevin Hebert, Group President of Mission Critical and National Region, whose career journey with Miller spans more than three decades.

A Family Tradition of Dedication

Kevin joined Miller in March of 1994 as an entry-level electrical worker, following in the footsteps of two generations before him. The Hebert family connection to Miller Electric runs deep: Kevin’s grandfather, father, and brother Larry all worked at Miller. Today, the fourth generation continues this proud tradition with Kevin and Larry’s sons now joining the company.

From Apprentice to Group President

Kevin’s career is a testament to growth, having held nearly every role within the business. After graduating from the Jacksonville Academy of Electrical Technology in 1999, he quickly began making an impact. In the early 2000s, Kevin helped grow the preventive maintenance side of our Mission Critical division. He later played a key role in launching Miller branches in Atlanta, Richmond, and Charlotte. By 2010, he relocated to Charlotte as a Senior Project Manager to lead the office, eventually expanding his responsibilities across the Mid-Atlantic. Under his leadership as Vice President, that region grew into seven branches, forming our National Region East, which became a leader in Data Center Construction—one of our company’s largest business areas.

Industry and Community Leadership

Kevin’s leadership extends beyond Miller. He has served the industry as a member of the JATC Apprenticeship Committees in Charlotte and Asheville. Since 2012, he has been a board member of the Atlantic Coast Chapter of NECA, currently serving as its Governor after several terms as President. His commitment to giving back is also reflected in his community involvement, from serving on the Executive Leadership Team for the AHA Charlotte Heart Ball to volunteering as Tournament Director for the Wolfson Children’s Hospital Bass Tournament in Jacksonville.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, family is a central part of Kevin’s life. He and his wife of 28 years, Rhonda, have three children and three grandchildren. Kevin enjoys spending time outdoors, with favorite pastimes that include hunting, golfing, and fishing, often relaxing with family at his small hunting farm in South Carolina.

Kevin’s journey is a powerful story of dedication and a deep commitment to both Miller Electric Company and the electrical industry as a whole. We are proud to recognize him as a key part of our Miller family.
