Group President Spotlight: Pat Eliason, Infrastructure Group

Continuing our series of highlighting our Group Presidents, this month we shine the spotlight on Pat Eliason, Group President of our Infrastructure Group. This vital group encompasses our Federal/Military/Maritime, Industrial, Transportation, and Electric Vehicle teams.
From Commander to Group President
Pat joined Miller Electric in the summer of 2020 to lead the Federal and Military Group after retiring from the Navy as a Commander. He is a 2000 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, and his distinguished Navy career culminated in commanding USS The Sullivans (DDG 68), a Destroyer stationed in Mayport, Florida. While in the Navy, he earned his Masters of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and successfully completed the rigorous Navy Nuclear Power training pipeline.
Driving Growth in Infrastructure
Leveraging his extensive background in government and engineering, Pat has effectively expanded Miller Electric’s government business. He has led major projects including the Kings Bay Drydock Recapitalization, expansion projects at Jaxport, and several large projects at NSB Kings Bay, NAS Jacksonville, NS Mayport, and BAE Jacksonville Ship Repair.
In his current role, which he began in October 2024, Pat has continued this path of growth in the Electric Vehicle, Infrastructure, and Industrial markets. Pat is dedicated to leveraging the systematic processes that built other successful vertical markets at Miller Electric and is driving to continue similar growth throughout our expansive footprint in the markets within the Infrastructure Group. Beyond his role at Miller Electric, Pat serves on the North Florida NECA Board and is actively involved in his community.
A Systematic Approach
Although Pat is relatively new to the industry compared to some of his peers, he brings a similar systematic approach to serving our clients. He particularly enjoys being out on construction sites and seeing the true engine of Miller’s growth: our trade professionals. Similar to the Sailors he led in the Navy, Pat continues to be impressed by the work ethic and expertise of our trade professionals—the primary reason for Miller’s continued success.
Life Outside of Work
Outside of the office, Pat is a proud husband and father. Pat’s wife, Teresa, is a Maine native whom he met while she was also serving in the Navy. They met in the Navy’s arduous Nuclear Power Training pipeline, where Teresa finished at the top of her class. Together they braved 11 military moves, and after all those transfers, they enjoy calling Jacksonville home.
Pat is the proud father to Jack, a sophomore at Florida State University (Go Noles!), and Casey, a high school senior. Pat values time with his family and can often be found spending time with them, on the golf course, or at the ice rink. As a proud Philadelphia native, he can also be found rooting for his favorite Philadelphia sports teams.
