Brian SeayVice President
Vice President of Healthcare for Miller Electric Company, Mr. Seay has worked in the electrical construction industry since 1990, joining Miller Electric Company in 2003. He is a graduate of the Academy of Electrical Technology 5-year program. Mr. Seay holds a State Electrical Contractors Licenses for the States of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. He has served as Branch Manager, Estimator, Project Manager, and Superintendent on a wide variety of projects in hospitals, paper mills, chemical plants, generating stations, and waste water treatment plants.
Mr. Seay is a LEED Accredited Professional and Member of the North Florida Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. He is past president of the Jacksonville Master Electricians Association, and has served as the Chairman of the JEA Utilities Codes and Standards Committee. He currently serves on the Academy of Electrical Technology Apprenticeship Committee in Jacksonville, and previously served on the Apprenticeship Committee in Mobile, Alabama.
He is a member of the Florida Healthcare Engineer Association (FHEA), Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. (ABC), and the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI).
Some of the courses of study Mr. Seay has completed include Electrical Estimating, Medium Voltage Cable Splicing, Certified GE Medium Voltage Breaker Technician, Programmable Controllers and Instrumentation, NECA Field Productivity, NECA Project Management Part II, and NECA Basic Principles of Project Scheduling. Mr. Seay holds a certification for GE Industrial Systems Engineering and TEGG Services Predictive Electrical Maintenance Thermography, Ultrasonic, Energized, and De-energized Maintenance.Back to Leadership
