Our Tampa Office is gearing up for the holiday season with Metropolitan Ministries.
Several of our Tampa team members spent their Friday afternoon passing out over 230 traditional Thanksgiving dinners, including all the fixings, to local families in need.
Metropolitan Ministries is a non-profit organization in Southwest Florida that cares for the homeless and at-risk children and families through services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity and instill self-sufficiency. Every year Metropolitan Ministries host mobile food drives throughout the city to ensure families in need have the accessibility to enjoy a proper Thanksgiving meal.
Miller Electric was the first group of the season to kickstart the mobile food drives. The holiday season is a time to reflect on one’s blessings, and we, as a company, are blessed to have employees who live out our core values of Community and Stewardship from day to day.
