The Miller Atlanta office has completed a large manufacturing facility in Opelika, Alabama for Pharmavite LLC, manufacturer of Nature Made® vitamins and SOYJOY® bars. Pharmavite is a national manufacturer and distributor of healthy lifestyle products like vitamins and supplements. The company will invest about $74 million during the first year of operations and will make additional future investments based on growth and sales.
The massive 330,000 square foot facility will employ approximately 280 employees in the first year of operation. It features state-of-the-art technology and will be the first major vitamin and supplement manufacturing facility in the United States to be LEED certified.
The Miller team was led by Senior Project Manager Buck Oden, Project Manager Kenny Hampton, Assistant Project Manager Wayne Johnson, Superintendents Leon Busbee, Shane Veatch and Rick Adams who coordinated and organized this high profile project. This huge facility is another example of Miller Electric Company’s ability to deploy to anywhere in the United States to support our customers.
