Renewable Energy

Renewable energy is derived from natural processes such as solar, wind, ocean, hydropower, biomass, geothermal resources, and bio-fuels and hydrogen derived from renewable resources.

 

Miller Electric Company is aggressively pursuing the emerging renewable energy markets and we have the resources required to build and maintain these new technologies. Most recently, Miller Electric completed building a large high tech Solar Power project in Jacksonville that will provide 12.6 Mega-Watts of power back to our local utility company. This massive installation with solar panels takes up approximately 93 acres of a 160 acre site. This 10 month project peaked with 65 electricians on-site and Miller employees have done all of the installation with the exception of the site preparation (drainage, grading, roads, etc...)
