Miller Electric: Florida Marlins Stadium project

Miller Electric Company has been picked to perform on another high profile project, this one is in Miami Florida -- The new home of the Florida Marlins Baseball team.

Led by Ft Lauderdale Branch Manager Mike Springstead and Project Manager Brian Dreher along with their on-site team, Miller Electric Company is installing the conduit infrastructure for the telephone/data systems and A/V systems on this massive project. We will be pulling cabling for these systems, installing speakers and performing the final termination, testing and commissioning.

This is a very large and complicated project where Superintendent Shawn Mills and his VDV team will have to coordinate with multiple trades, sub-contractors and dynamic project schedules.

The new ballpark is being built less than 2 miles west of Downtown Miami in the Little Havana neighborhood, on the site of the former Miami Orange Bowl. Upon completion, the new ballpark will become home to the Florida Marlins, which will change its name to the Miami Marlins when moving into the stadium.

Substantial completion is scheduled for December 2011on this $515 million dollar retractable roof 37,000 seat state-of-the-art stadium.
